In this week’s broadcast we talk about believing for the things Jesus has paid for through his horrifying suffering, in particular divine healing. Healing and all things that restore us to the way we were always created by God are available to all of humanity owing to the suffering’s of God the Father’s Servant, His Only Begotten Son Jesus.
During the program we discuss the challenges people face in believing the Truth of the Holy Scriptures when they lean on their own understanding (contrary to Prov 3:5) and base what they believe based on their sight and not based on faith (contrary to 2 Cor 5:7).
A caller into the program gives a testimony of laying hands on their children and seeing them improve.
The goal is to believe, to act/do what the bible says we should be doing and expect the outcome of what the bible says we should expect to see, regardless of if you “see nothing happen.” Who are we to put our opinion above the Lord our God, and His Word?
The Disciples Commissioned
14 Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17 These [d]signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the [e]signs that followed.]
Are you a believer? You can do all these things that Jesus tells his disciples. What are we waiting for? Let us set the captives free from sickness, oppression in the name of Jesus, who works through us (Mark 16:20) / (Acts 10:38).
